Alarm Module Removal Instructions

Mechanical Skill Level Required: Minimal
Additional Professional Programming Required: None. Plug and Drive.

Tools needed to remove the alarm module:

10mm Wrench (a ratcheting wrench is easiest)
Flat Blade Screwdriver (for removal of door sill trim)

Follow these steps for removal of module:
 (Pictures are not yet ready for alarm removal.)  

1. Remove driver's door sill trim with the flat blade screwdriver. The trim is located at the bottom of the door frame between the carpet and the metal.


2. Lift the carpet away from the floor at the driver's door sill right next to the driver's seat. At this point the alarm module should be visible. It is a silver box with a yellow connector.


3. Remove the 2 plastic 10mm nuts.


4. Lift the alarm module out and disconnect from the connector.





5. Send the old alarm module back to us.
